Welcome to Sky at Night
Thank you for visiting my corner of the internet! This site is where I share my journey into the world of astrophotography — capturing the beauty of the night sky, one image at a time.
I’m still very new to this hobby, but each night out under the stars teaches me something new. With my Celestron NexStar SLT telescope and computerized mount, I’ve started exploring the wonders of deep space — from craters on the Moon to faint galaxies and nebulae millions of light-years away.
Astrophotography is as much about patience and learning as it is about the final image. I’m currently experimenting with image stacking to bring out more detail in faint objects and slowly improving my techniques. Over time, I’ll be adding both images and videos here so you can follow along with my progress and hopefully be inspired to look up at the night sky yourself.
This site isn’t just about polished photos — it’s about the adventure of discovery, learning, and the excitement of capturing light that has traveled across the universe to reach us.
Stay tuned as I continue to update Sky at Night with new observations, images, and stories from my nights under the stars.
Clear skies,
Tony B
